Payment based on performance means you get paid for a specific action taken by your followers. The most common models are CPI (Cost per Install), CPC (Cost per Click), or CPO (Cost per Order). This means that for CPI, you get paid for each installation made through your individual tracking link. For performance campaigns, a price per action is determined in advance. Your earnings are calculated based on this price during the campaign. For example, if the price is €1.50 (150 coins) per installation, you would earn €150 for 100 installations.
